Tree of Our Forefathers
This award winning Mozambican film by Licinio Azevedo was broadcast on the BBC in 1994, and was made soon after the long civil war ended. It follows a family of refugees returning home afte over a decade living in a camp in Malawi. The music was composed in collaboration with a hand-picked selection of Mozambican musicians including Stewart Sukuma, Jose Guimaraes, Chude Mondlane and Makwaela dos TPM.
